Jake and Carlee’s special day was one we would have loved to attend as guests, but we were so honored when they asked if we could tell their beautiful wedding story with our cameras. We obviously couldn’t resist.

Jeff met Jake several years ago when they worked together at Penrose Brewing Company, and Carlee and Amanda instantly hit it off when they had the pleasure of finally meeting at a Penrose release. And, as it turns out, Amanda and Carlee quickly found out they had several mutual connections. How small of a world is it? So darn small.

Every single detail of this wedding was uniquely Jake and Carlee—from using potted plants instead of flowers as decor to crystals on each table, a sunflower-lined chandelier hanging above the dance floor, garden seeds as favors, lots of Fleetwood Mac and stained glass everything. And of course it was on a farm. But not just any farm. Heritage Prairie Farm is a Certified Organic Farm and there’s a donkey and two goats who hang out there. So, clearly one of the most unique and beautiful venues that they could have picked for their special day.

Honestly, we had a really tough time paring this one down, so here’s “a few” of our favorites.
